Photography is a photographic process developed to pull different images
into one photo without manipulation in the darkroom. Pan - all around. Scene - view. The images are familiar, but are presented tumbled and jumbled. The traditional, sweeping "panorama" is replaced by a confusion of interwoven scenes - much like a still movie might be. |

The Living History
Project is a series of PanScenics shot at a civil war reenactment in New
Mexico. They are the first images in an ongoing project that I hope will
put a new face on photography -- to demonstrate the passage of time. |

| Visit our Gallery of Cartes de Viste. During the Civil War, the Carte De Viste was a small portrait placed on a small back printed card. Its main use was as a social calling card and by soldiers sending pictures home. For those involved in Civil War reenactments, we have developed a fine reproductive method of creating Cartes de Visite from any photographic print. |
